East Coast Organic Coffee Bar – Rockaway’s Unique Coffee & Avocado Toast Spot in a Chic Salon

The Americano’s tasty and the avocado toast’s delicious! The young lady who served me is the perfect person to be at ‘the front’ of the business - smiley, naturally happy, positive, utterly helpful and considerate. It’s rare to find people who offer those qualities to customers, so the business is incredibly fortunate that she works there.

We planned to come here before a busy day of shopping. Their drink options are absolutely fantastic! The service was great, and the drinks came out pretty quick. This is probably on me, but I didn’t realize it was inside of a hair salon (it’s actually a brilliant idea!). On a Friday morning, it was pretty loud. We planned to sit and hang out, but they only had one big table and that was taken. This is definitely a great spot to stop to get a quick drink, and all the food choices looked excellent as well. I love all the seasonal specials and what we got we really really enjoyed! We will be back!

Finally got the time to write a well deserved review for this great place. Made my way out after finishing up an early work day. I had been wanting to stop by and try their drinks since I had seen them on my socials so I stopped by August 4th around 1hr-1.5hr before closing time. The design/layout of the place is great, atmosphere is relaxed, and the barista was very friendly. We had 3 different the drinks that day (very berry matcha, strawberry matcha, & smores latte). [Personal note just on my liking - felt strawberry was slightly missing that strong strawberry flavor I tend to like but was still great] But all were fantastic nonetheless, very berry was my favorite! Finally also wanted to come by and support a fellow female business owner, amazing what she has created! I need to find the time to come back & also try the food!

First- genius idea of having a salon + coffee bar. Finally stopped by this local spot to try coffee and glad we made visited. 2 brown sugar shaken espressos were great! Service was good, price was a little high, but average for the area. Will be there again!

Just found this awesome coffee shop by accident! I just had the best iced shaken espresso with homemade SF Caramel syrup and homemade oat milk, hand crafted by Aster. Literally the best coffee I’ve ever had in my life. And if things couldn’t get any better, they have Gluten Free bagels! Def coming back! Highly recommend.

The coffee is literally amazing. I drive from Morristown like almost 2-3 times a week just to get the golden cinnamon cold foam latte. The place is absolutely beautiful. All the integrity in the selection of ingredients and retail shines through easily. I’ve been a “fan” of the owner for many years and through all her different business endeavors and this (and the new salon) are by far the most amazing and successful small business I’ve seen a young woman create in North Jersey. Do not skip this place, seems like a hole in the wall from the outside but inside it is an experience. The apple cider donuts are amazing too.

We ordered the S'mores and Pistachio Latte and Espresso shot. And we loved them. The coffee shop is connected to the salon, there is not a lot of seating indoor during a busy time. The drinks are made fast and esthetically pleasing.

This is a unique combination of businesses under one roof but it is a great place. The coffee is amazing! I got a hot Christmas cookie latte and my friend had the same but iced. Outstanding! They use only clean ingredients and you can taste the difference. Will be going back for the coquito ASAP. The barista was such a nice guy!
